I publish several applications on the company portal for users to install on demand. They are all visible and listed, some of them highlighted. However, the Microsoft 365 Business Apps don't appear, nor does the Visio installation I created using the XML file. Both are set to Featured. if i develop intonecessary, the apps are installed automatically, but they also don't appear in the portal. All other applications seem to be fine. How can I solve this problem?

      cool@jordanjordanov

      So it co-manages!

      Note here:

      For Available Assignment, it only applies to user groups. For REQUIRED and UNINSTALL mappings, it can be applied to user groups or device groups. Here is a link with more details for reference.

      https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/mem/intune/apps/apps-deploy#assign-an-app

      You must also migrate the Intune app's workload to appear in the portal:

        @Konstantinos Pasades

        Thank you for your knowledge. i think this is the key"For available assignments, it's only for usergroups".actually, it is for device groups. Interestingly though, I have other apps available that solve this problemall equipmentand appear on the company portal. Maybe this limitation only applies when I select a specific group and not all devices?

        Regardless, after reaching out to a group of users, the app appeared on the company's portal. Thanks for your time and effort. :)

        Thank you for your response! I looked it up, but it seems to be related to Office Online applications. When I flip the switch, a bunch of apps appear in the portal, but they're links to Office Online apps, not apps that can be installed on the device. For example, I've configured Visio Professional 2019 with a MAK key, it should install, but it's not online.

      @Yordan Yordanov, thanks for the Q&A post.

      From my testing, for a Microsoft 365 app deployed on a Windows device, when we deploy it through the required assignment, it does not appear in the featured app company portal. This is by design. For usergroups that we add to the "Available on registered devices" app assignment, when we set "Show this as a featured app in the Company Portal" to Yes, we will see in the Featured Apps section of the Company Portal the application.

      At the same time, for the "Office Online Apps" setting in Tenant Asmin-Customization, according to my test, when the setting is displayed, it will display the entire online office application whether we deploy it through Intune or not.

      Given your situation, I think you could switch to using the "Available on registered device" mapping to allow the app to appear on the Company Portal.

      Hope the above information helps.

        The application is made available to registrants, but it does not appear in the portal. This only works for Microsoft 365 apps (Office, Visio), other apps display normally. Is there anything special about them? There are two devices in the group, neither of which is showing the app in Company Portal.

        Could co-management arrangements prevent this from happening? I have SCCM in my environment with Office Click-to-Run apps workload set to ConfigMgr. No more SCCM, I'd love to remove the co-management settings, but it can only be done via SCCM, I haven't found a way to set those sliders from within Intune. This is what it looks like now:

        However, non-co-managed clients install the application correctly if configurednecessary.They just don't show up on the company portal.

      @Yordan Yordanov, thanks for your reply. I noticed that the device is co-managed and the workload to manage the Office Click-to-Run app for Microsoft 365 Apps is still in Configuration Manager. I think this might be the reason.

      https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/mem/configmgr/comanage/workloads#office-click-to-run-apps

      I noticed that SCCM no longer exists and now we cannot offload workloads to Intune. For these affected devices, I recommend re-enrolling the devices directly in Intune to apply the application or policy.

      You can choose a registration method according to your own situation. Here are some ways to register your report:

      Self-enrollment via MDM- Connects the device to Azure Active Directory and allows users to log in to Windows using their Azure AD credentials. If auto-enrollment is enabled, the device is automatically enrolled in Intune.

      Automatic registration via Group Policy:Configure an Active Directory group policy to automatically enroll hybrid Azure AD joined devices. (Join the local domain, log in to the Azure AD device to join Intune. It is mainly for adding devices to existing domains.)

      Windows Autopilot:Configure and pre-configure new devices, ready for production use.

        @Crystal-MSFT

        Thanks for your input, as I described above, the problem was solved by targeting the app to the user group instead of the device group. Devices in use are not managed together because they are directly enrolled into Intune as hybrid devices using GPOs. Co-management settings still work for some older co-managed devices, but they will soon be reinstalled and co-management will end. Thanks again! :)
